Eligibility
All regular, full-time ZEOs in the U.S. are eligible for Modern Health, fully covered by Zuora.
Dependent Access: Dependents are eligible for the same Modern Health benefits you have as a ZEO, at no additional cost to you. Get your dependents set-up with Modern Health by following the instructions here (Google Drive, opens in a new tab).
- Who is a dependent?
- Your legal spouse or domestic partner
- You, your spouse’s or your domestic partner’s children under the age of 26
- A child age 18-26 who you, your spouse or your domestic partner is a court appointed guardian; and
- A child for whom you have a Qualified Medical Child Support Order
Note: Minor dependents (age 6-18 in U.S.) or (age 13-18 globally) are eligible for 1:1 therapy only.
Benefit Overview
We’re excited to offer a range of mental health and well-being benefits through Modern Health for all eligible ZEOs and their dependents aged 18 and older:
- 10 1:1 Coaching Sessions (PDF, opens in a new tab): A certified coach will use evidence-based approaches to help you gain a deeper awareness of non-clinical issues. Certified coaches include mental health, professionals or financial wellbeing coaches
- 8 1:1 Therapy Sessions (PDF, opens in a new tab): A licensed clinical therapist can work with you to understand mental health concerns and develop a plan for treating them.
- 24/7 Counselor Phone Support (Google Drive, opens in a new tab): For urgent needs and critical incidents, you have access to a 24/7 phone line, which will connect you to a master’s level counselor within seconds for immediate support. Available in all countries.
- Note: The 24/7 Phone Line will vary by country. Navigate to your Modern Health app to find the appropriate number for your region.
- Group Support: Unlimited access to Circles, which are live, therapist-lead, group support sessions.
- Guided Meditations & Self-Paced Digital Courses (Google Drive, opens in a new tab): Resources available at any time in your Modern Health portal.
- Work-life Resources: (Google Drive, opens in a new tab) You have complimentary access to Work-Life specialists who can help with customized research and referrals for your needs.
- Manager Resources (Google Drive, opens in a new tab): you have complimentary access to professional consultants that can help managers and leaders navigate team or work group conflicts.
Dependents under 18 years old:
- 8 therapy sessions
Important Note: Your 1:1 session allotment renews each year on January 1.
Accessing Modern Health:
- Check your Zuora inbox for an email from Modern Health titled “ZEOs – Welcome to Your Free Modern Health Account”
- Click the link in the email, or go to my.modernhealth.com.
- Sign up with your work email and Zuora as your company name.

Once registered, you will have the option to switch to your personal email. Your personal information and usage of Modern Health is 100% confidential and will not be shared with Zuora.
